I keep thinking about what I would get for a tattoo, if I did. Mostly I think about getting the Little Prince, or the fox from the Little Prince, or something from Pooh, or something from Alice.

But more than anything, I want the last panel of this comic -- for so many, many reasons. I am seriously considering this.

I interviewed my grandma about a year ago for a class project (basically "write a biography about a woman over the age of 60"). I wrote a pretty cool paper, but the best part is the transcription of the interview itself, which I just found on my computer. I'm sad that I didn't end up transcribing quite everything, but there is some pretty cool stuff here. Excerpts for your reading pleasure below!

I was born in the Hollywood hospital in Hollywood, California, in 1925. At that time my mother was an actress, and she was considered quite famous, I guess, because the day after I was born the LA Times came and they took a picture of my mother... and in those days, women laid flat in bed after they had a baby, didn’t move, unlike my time... But she was lying in bed with me cuddled in her arms, and it said, "Vivian Reed"... "A new star is born." Mother looked beautiful, even lying there.

In conclusion, my grandma's totally awesome.
